It was with great sadness that I heard of Peter’s untimely death. He was a really supportive colleague, always willing to step forward whenever he could. He will be sadly missed by all who worked with him and I know he will be fondly remembered by the many students he supported throughout his long career. He gave generously of his time, helping students to realise their ideas and turn notions into practical outcomes. Peter was always the man to consult for clear advice on all aspects of traditional and digital workshop practice and it is sad to think that he is no longer here. Adrian Marden
